FAQ

What does connecting an alarm to a monitoring centre cost?
The monthly monitoring fee is typically €30–€60 per system — depending on number of alarm lines and availability requirement. Per alarm activation an intervention fee of €80–€180 applies, scaled by response time. For multi-site contracts (groups with multiple locations) fees reduce by 10–25%. Concrete quotes follow an inventory.
How quickly is the patrol vehicle on-site?
Around Erfurt, Munich, Mannheim, Stuttgart and Braunschweig the average response time is 8–15 minutes from alarm verification — often faster than the nearest police patrol. Nationwide we operate a partner network guaranteeing under-30-minute response. Response times are logged per incident — important for insurance evidence.
What happens on a false alarm?
Before any police alert we run a verification — typically via photo/video feed from the camera system or a brief call to the client. Only confirmed incidents trigger intervention dispatch and police notification. This filter reduces false alarms by >95% and avoids the per-call police fees applicable in many federal states for repeat false alarms.
Which alarm systems can be connected?
We connect all common intrusion, fire and panic alarm systems certified per VdS class or DIN EN 50131. Transmission via IP, GSM or ISDN backup. On request we retrofit existing systems with the transmission module — typically a one-time €800–€2,500. Fire alarm systems per DIN 14675 are connected in parallel to the municipal fire control centre with the Sekuris NSL as second receiver.
What is the intervention service authorised to do on-site?
Sekuris officers act within house rights (granted by client power of attorney) and self-defence rights: visual and functional inspection, photo documentation, refusal of entry to unauthorised persons, escalation to police and fire services. Arrest occurs only for clear criminal acts under self-protection priority. With acute danger to life, the top priority remains: no incident escalation at the cost of officer safety.
Can the monitoring centre be linked to a corporate control centre?
Yes. For corporations with their own works or IT control centre we operate as second escalation tier — first notification to client, then Sekuris intervention per their instruction. Interfaces via secure VPN, standard protocols (VdS 2465 for alarm transmission) and defined escalation SLAs. Useful for pharma corporations, critical infrastructure operators and industrial parks with own security organisation.
